Qualifications

• Guard Card/License preferred.
• Access Control/Badge experience preferred.
• CPR Certification preferred.
• Customer Service Experience preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and/or delivery personnel at a technology-focused location by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures and policies.
• Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of offices, common areas, parking areas, loading zones, and the surrounding perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials in accordance with site procedures, and report access concerns to appropriate personnel.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established emergency response protocols.
• Document observations, patrol activity, incidents, and maintenance concerns in required reports and communicate relevant information to site leadership.
