Allied Universal is seeking a part-time Unarmed Patrol Security Officer for a Sterling, VA site. You will provide on-site security services, deter incidents, and maintain a welcoming environment while upholding integrity and teamwork.

The role emphasizes customer service, visible presence, and adherence to site policies in a technology and telecommunications setting. Training and shift-based scheduling are provided.

Formación

• At least one year of security-related experience is required.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• A background investigation will be conducted as per laws.
• A drug screen may be required by law.

Responsabilidades

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and vendors at a technology, media, and telecommunications location by following security procedures and site policies.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, access concerns, and critical situations calmly and report them per procedures.
• Conduct regular patrols of the facility interior, exterior, parking areas, and perimeter to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points, visitor activity, and delivery areas and report observations to the appropriate personnel.
• Document patrols, incidents, and noteworthy activity using required logs and reporting tools.

As an Unarmed Patrol Officer supporting a dynamic technology, media, and telecommunications location, you will conduct routine patrols, monitor access points, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and communicate professionally with employees, visitors, and contractors. You will help support a secure, welcoming environment while delivering exceptional service with integrity, teamwork, reliability, and a people-first approach at Allied Universal.

Pay Rate: $23.18 / Hour

Job Schedule: DayTimeMon06:00 AM - 02:00 PMFri07:00 AM - 03:00 PM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and/or vendors at a technology, media, and telecommunications location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established escalation and reporting procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of the facility interior, exterior, parking areas, and perimeter to help identify unusual conditions and help deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points, visitor activity, and delivery areas in accordance with site requirements, and report observations to appropriate personnel.
• Document patrols, incidents, and noteworthy activity accurately and timely using site-required logs and reporting tools.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least one year of security-related experience is required.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• At this site, there are limited on-site facilities such as portable toilets and rustic guard shacks.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
