Job summary

Qualifications

• CPR certification preferred.
• A guard card or license preferred.
• Customer service experience preferred.
• Access control or badge experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel by carrying out security procedures and site policies.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of interior and exterior areas, including entrances, parking areas, perimeters, and common spaces.
• Monitor access points and verify credentials; report access-control concerns to site leadership and management.
• Respond calmly and professionally to incidents, alarms, and critical situations following post orders and escalation procedures.
• Document patrols, incidents, observations, and daily activities in required reports and communicate relevant information to site leadership.

Pay Rate: $19.00 / Hour

Job Schedule

• Thur: 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM
• Sun: 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM

What You'll Do

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel at a technology, media, and telecommunications location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of interior and exterior areas, including building entrances, parking areas, perimeter locations, and common spaces, to help identify and report unusual activity or conditions.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity in accordance with site procedures, verify credentials as directed, and report access-control concerns to appropriate personnel.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established post orders and escalation procedures.
• Document patrols, incidents, observations, and daily activities accurately in required reports and communicate relevant information to site leadership and Allied Universal management.

Minimum Requirements

• CPR certification is preferred.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Access control or badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
