Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and contractors by following site-specific procedures.
• Conduct regular unarmed patrols of the facility, grounds, and entrances to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access to designated areas and verify visitor/contractor authorization.
• Respond to incidents and alarms calmly following site emergency procedures.
• Communicate observations and maintenance concerns to site leadership.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or contractors at a technology, media, and telecommunications location by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures and policies.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of the facility, grounds, access points, parking areas, and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
• Monitor access to designated areas, verify visitor and contractor authorization, and maintain applicable entry and incident documentation.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem‑solving manner, following site-specific emergency response procedures.
• Communicate observations, incidents, and maintenance concerns to Allied Universal leadership and appropriate site contacts.

Minimum Requirements:

• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
