Job summary

Allied Universal, North America's leading security and facility services company, is hiring a Part-Time Security Officer TWIC Driver in Seattle, WA. You will serve customers across Retail/Malls and other sites, monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence, and deter security incidents while providing courteous service.

This driving role requires operating a vehicle per policy, working with our Claim a Shift platform to build a flexible schedule, and reporting

Qualifications

• Possess Transportation Worker Identification Credential (TWIC) issued by TSA.
• A valid driver’s license is required per Allied Universal policy.
• Be at least 18 for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Background check conducted under federal/state/local laws.
• Drug screening conducted as permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements vary by state/local regulations.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to visitors, tenants, and retail staff per procedures.
• Respond to incidents calmly, escalate as needed following site procedures.
• Conduct regular patrols of retail areas, parking, and perimeters; report hazards.
• Monitor access points and control movement per site requirements.
• Prepare incident reports and logs; communicate observations to leadership.

As a Security Professional at a retail and mall location, you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, and maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents. This primarily driving role includes operating a vehicle in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements while providing exceptional customer service and clear communication. Pay Rate: $23.72 / Hour

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to visitors, tenants, and retail staff by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.


• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns according to site procedures.


• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout retail areas, common spaces, parking areas, loading zones, and the property perimeter to help identify and report unusual activity or hazards.


• Monitor access points and help maintain orderly movement of visitors, contractors, deliveries, and employees in accordance with site requirements.


• Prepare clear and accurate incident reports, activity logs, and related documentation, and communicate observations to site leadership and Allied Universal management.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess a Transportation Worker Identification Credential issued by TSA.


• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.


• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.


• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.


• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.


• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.


• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.


• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.


• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
