Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Access Control Driver in Seattle, WA. This part-time role offers reliable, anchored shifts with the option to earn more by picking up additional shifts through our scheduling platform.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, drivers, and/or vendors by carrying out site-specific access-control procedures, policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Monitor access points and verify credentials, visitor authorization, and delivery documentation in accordance with site procedures.
• Maintain accurate visitor, vehicle, and incident records and communicate access concerns to appropriate site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
• Respond to incidents, unauthorized access attempts, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned access points, business areas, and perimeter locations; working environments and conditions may vary by site.

As a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Access Control Driver in Seattle, WA, this role is designed to provide reliable, consistent hours at an assigned site with the flexibility for you to earn more by picking‑up additional shifts when it works for you.

Pay Rate: $23.72 / Hour

Job Schedule:

DayTimeWed02:00 PM - 10:00 PM

How This Role Works:

• Fixed-Shift Commitment (“Anchor Shifts”): You will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule. This assignment requires a six (6) month commitment.
• Earn More, Claim-A-Shift Program: In addition to your fixed shift, you may pick‑up extra shifts through our scheduling platform, allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites. Work part‑time hours this week and full‑time the next. It’s all up to you.

This role is ideal for candidates seeking part‑time employment with flexibility, income stability, and opportunities to build‑up to a full‑time schedule of up to 40 hours per week; always with the option to scale back when needed.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least one year of security‑related experience is required.
• A TSA‑issued TWIC is required.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfortable use of a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
