Allied Universal is hiring a Security Officer – Part Time Enhanced in Seattle, WA. This role offers flexible hours with a fixed anchor shift and opportunities to pick up additional shifts through our scheduling platform.

You will provide customer service, enforce site policies, respond to incidents, conduct patrols, monitor access, and communicate with site leadership. A HS diploma and TSA TWIC are required, plus background check and drug screening.

As a Security Officer Part Time TWIC Patrol in Seattle, WA, this role is designed to provide reliable, consistent hours at an assigned site with the flexibility for you to earn more by picking‑up additional shifts when it works for you.

Pay Rate: $26.35 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Sat 07:00 PM - 07:00 AM
• Sun 07:00 PM - 07:00 AM

How This Role Works:

• Fixed-Shift Commitment ("Anchor Shifts"): You will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule. This assignment requires a six (6) month commitment.
• Earn More, Claim-A-Shift Program: In addition to your fixed shift, you may pick-up extra shifts through our scheduling platform, allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites. Work part‑time hours this week and full‑time the next. It’s all up to you.

This role is ideal for candidates seeking part‑time employment with flexibility, income stability, and opportunities to build-up to a full‑time schedule of up to 40 hours per week; always with the option to scale back when needed.

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security‑related procedures, site‑specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities at an industrial manufacturing location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner, following established site protocols and reporting requirements.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of facility buildings, production areas, parking areas, access points, and the surrounding perimeter to help identify unusual conditions.
• Monitor access to the property by verifying authorized personnel, visitors, and delivery drivers in accordance with site‑specific procedures.
• Document patrols, incidents, observations, and security‑related activities accurately and communicate relevant information to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess at least 1 year of security‑related experience.
• Possess a TSA‑issued TWIC.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
