Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer Full Time Patrol Driver in Seattle, WA to provide customer service, deter incidents, and support access control. This unarmed patrol position requires a valid driver's license and involves daytime shifts with a fixed schedule.

You will conduct regular patrols of the retail location, respond to incidents, complete reports, and maintain a professional, welcoming presence for clients and staff.

Qualifications

• A valid driver’s license is required.
• CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Background checks and drug screen may be required by law.
• Licensing requirements may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Job Description

As a Security Officer Full Time Patrol Driver in Seattle, WA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a retail location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security‑related incidents, and support access control activities. This driving position requires a valid driver’s license in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to patrons, visitors, and staff by carrying out site‑specific security‑related procedures, policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Respond to incidents, customer concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem‑solving manner, escalating matters according to site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of the retail location, entrances, parking areas, and perimeter to help identify and report unusual activity, hazards, or maintenance concerns.
• Monitor access points and observe activity throughout the location to help support a welcoming environment for customers and staff.
• Complete accurate reports and communicate relevant observations, incidents, and follow‑up needs to site management and Allied Universal leadership.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
