Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures per site policies and emergency response as needed at a chemical/petrochemical location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, hazardous-material concerns, and critical situations calmly following site protocols.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned areas, access points, facilities, and perimeter areas to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access control activities, verify credentials, and maintain security logs and incident documentation.
• Communicate professionally with site personnel, visitors, contractors, and emergency responders while following site procedures.

As a Security Officer Full Time TWIC Credential Services Driver in Pasadena, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Chemical/Petrochemical, and more. As a Security Officer at a chemical/petrochemical location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, support access control activities, help to deter incidents, and provide professional customer service and communication. Position Type: Full Time

Pay Rate: $20.80 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Mon 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM
• Tue 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM
• Wed 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM
• Thur 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM
• Fri 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities at a chemical/petrochemical location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, hazardous-material concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following site protocols and escalation procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned areas, access points, facilities, and perimeter areas to help identify unusual conditions and help deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access control activities, verify credentials as directed, and maintain accurate security-related logs, reports, and incident documentation.
• Communicate professionally with site personnel, visitors, contractors, and emergency responders while supporting established chemical/petrochemical location procedures.

Minimum Requirements:

• A Transportation Worker Identification Credential issued by the Transportation Security Administration is required.
• A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
