Allied Universal is hiring a Security Officer Full Time Credential Driver in Corpus Christi, TX. You will manage entry points, verify credentials, and maintain secure access at a chemical/petrochemical site while delivering professional customer service.

The role includes patrols, alarms response, and adherence to site policies. Candidates must have 2+ years in security, a TSA TWIC, and a valid driver's license, with background and drug screening as per policy.

Qualifications

• At least 2 years of security-related experience is required.
• Possess a TSA-issued TWIC.
• A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal policy.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, a background investigation will be conducted.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applicants with criminal histories.
• A drug screen is required where permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.

As an Access Control Officer at a chemical/petrochemical location, you will manage entry points, verify credentials, monitor access activity, and help maintain a secure environment for personnel and visitors. What You'll Do

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities at a chemical/petrochemical location.
• Monitor and control access to the location by verifying credentials, screening authorized visitors, issuing access documentation, and maintaining accurate entry and exit records.
• Respond to access-control alarms, incidents, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following site-specific escalation and reporting procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of access points, business areas, and the perimeter to help identify unauthorized activity and report security-related concerns.
• Maintain awareness of industrial hazards, restricted areas, and required personal protective equipment while performing assigned duties.

Minimum Requirements

• At least 2 years of security-related experience is required.
• Possess a TSA-issued TWIC.
• A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
