Job summary

Allied Universal is hiring a Security Officer TWIC Compliance in Alvin, TX to protect clients across various facilities, including chemical and petrochemical sites. You will monitor access, patrol areas, respond to incidents, and document activity, applying site policies and emergency procedures.

Minimum requirements include a TSA-issued TWIC, high school diploma or equivalent, and background/drug screening as required by law; driving pos. require a valid license.

Qualifications

• Possess a TSA-issued TWIC.
• A guard card/license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate at a chemical and petrochemical manufacturing location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established site protocols and notification procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of facility buildings, access points, parking areas, and perimeter areas to help identify unusual conditions and support site operations.
• Monitor access to restricted areas, verify credentials as required, and document visitor, contractor, and delivery activity in accordance with site procedures.
• Complete detailed reports, logs, and incident documentation, and communicate relevant information to Allied Universal leadership and site contacts.

Pay Rate: $15.00 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Wed 06:00 AM - 02:00 PM
• Thur 06:00 AM - 02:00 PM
• Sat 06:00 AM - 06:00 PM
• Sun 06:00 AM - 06:00 PM
