Responsibilities

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and site policies.

• Monitor access points, verify credentials, and document visitor and contractor activity.
• Complete accurate reports and communicate observations to supervision.

As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a chemical and petrochemical location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support access control and incident response. This driving post requires a valid driver's license and TSA-issued TWIC. Deliver exceptional customer service and clear communication while working as part of an agile, reliable, innovative team that puts people first and acts with integrity.

Pay Rate: $18.00 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Mon 07:00 AM - 03:00 PM
• Sun 06:00 AM - 02:00 PM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate at a chemical and petrochemical location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, spills, and other critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following site protocols and notifying appropriate personnel.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of buildings, process areas, access points, parking areas, and the perimeter to help identify unusual conditions and help deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access control points, verify credentials as required, and document visitor, contractor, and delivery activity in accordance with site procedures.
• Complete accurate reports, logs, and incident documentation, and communicate relevant observations to Allied Universal supervision and site contacts.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• A TSA-issued TWIC is required.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
