Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and contractors by following security procedures and emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of facility buildings, grounds, access points, parking areas, and perimeter areas; document observations.
• Monitor access by verifying credentials and reporting unauthorized access or suspicious activity.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations following site protocols and notifying appropriate personnel.
• Complete required activity reports, incident documentation, and shift communications.

As a Patrol Officer at a chemical/petrochemical location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, monitor access points, and support security-related operations. This driving post requires a valid driver's license and TSA-issued TWIC. You will deliver exceptional customer service and clear communication while representing Allied Universal’s agile, reliable, innovative, and people-first culture with integrity and teamwork.

Position Type: Part Time

Pay Rate: $15.50 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Mon: 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM
• Tue: 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM
• Thur: 06:00 AM - 06:00 PM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and contractors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of facility buildings, grounds, access points, parking areas, and perimeter areas, documenting observations and irregular conditions.
• Monitor access to the location by verifying credentials, following visitor and contractor entry procedures, and reporting unauthorized access attempts or suspicious activity.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established site protocols and notifying appropriate personnel.
• Complete required activity reports, incident documentation, and shift communications in accordance with Allied Universal and site-specific requirements.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in the state where the job is located.
• Possess a TSA-issued TWIC.
• Ability to lift up to 20 pounds is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
