Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer Full Time Unarmed Patrol Crime Prevention in San Jose, CA to protect clients across tech and related industries. You will patrol sites, deter incidents, and maintain a visible security presence while delivering excellent customer service and clear communication.

The role requires at least two years of security experience, high school diploma or equivalent, and compliance with background and drug-screen requirements.

Qualifications

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and vendors at a semiconductor technology location by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of offices, manufacturing-adjacent areas, parking locations, and building perimeters.
• Monitor access points, verify visitor/contractor authorization, and report access-related concerns.
• Respond to incidents and alarms calmly following post orders and escalation protocols.
• Document patrols and incidents accurately and communicate with site contacts and leadership.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and vendors at a semiconductor technology location by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of offices, manufacturing-adjacent areas, parking locations, building perimeters, and other assigned areas to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points, verify visitor and contractor authorization per site procedures, and report access concerns to appropriate personnel.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner per post orders.
• Document patrols, incidents, observations, and security-related activities and communicate information to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
