Job summary

Allied Universal is hiring a Security Officer Full Time Patrol Documentation in Milpitas, CA to safeguard clients across tech, media, and telecom sectors. You will patrol, deter incidents, and deliver strong customer service while documenting activities and incidents.

Role requires security experience and a valid guard card; CPR is preferred. Shifts include day and weekend coverage with steady hours and a commitment to safety.

Qualifications

• At least one year of security-related experience is required.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with laws.
• A drug screen may be required as a condition of employment.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and contractors at a technology and telecommunications location by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols throughout the facility and surrounding areas.
• Monitor access points, verify authorization for entry, and document activity.
• Complete detailed activity reports, incident documentation, and shift communications.
