As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a government location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, support access control, and provide outstanding customer service. You will communicate professionally with visitors and personnel while responding to security-related concerns. Position Type: Part Time

Pay Rate: $23.45 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Mon 03:00 PM - 08:00 PM
• Tue 03:00 PM - 08:00 PM
• Wed 03:00 PM - 08:00 PM
• Thur 03:00 PM - 08:00 PM
• Fri 03:00 PM - 08:00 PM

What You’ll Do:

• Provide customer service to visitors, employees, and agency personnel while carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and emergency response activities at government facilities.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of assigned buildings, grounds, parking areas, and perimeter locations, reporting unusual conditions and maintenance concerns.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity in accordance with site procedures, assisting with entry screening, directions, and credential verification as assigned.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; notify appropriate personnel and document actions taken.
• Complete accurate activity logs, incident reports, and patrol documentation while communicating observations to supervisors and designated site contacts.

Minimum Requirements:

• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• A state, county, or city-issued security-related license is preferred.
• CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
