Allied Universal is seeking a Part Time Security Officer for an Unarmed Patrol position in Stamford, CT. You will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to deter incidents, respond to concerns, and provide exceptional customer service to tenants, visitors, and staff.

Minimum requirements include at least two years in security, a high school diploma or equivalent, and the ability to pass background checks and a drug screen.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, contractors, and/or clients by carrying out site-specific procedures and responding to requests in a professional manner.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of commercial property common areas, building exteriors, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help identify and report unusual conditions.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity in accordance with site procedures, helping to deter unauthorized entry and directing individuals as appropriate.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and emergency situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; notify appropriate contacts and document activities according to site procedures.
• Prepare clear, accurate reports of patrols, incidents, maintenance concerns, and other security-related observations.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least two years of security-related experience is required.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
