Allied Universal®, North America’s leading security and facility services company, is hiring a Security Officer Unarmed Patrol Driver in Mobile, AL. This part-time role offers a flexible schedule and the chance to protect government and other clients while delivering professional customer service. As an unarmed patrol officer, you will conduct routine patrols and maintain a visible presence.

Pay rate is $18.03 per hour. Shifts include Sat 8:00 AM–4:00 PM and Sun 4:00 PM–12:00 AM.

Qualifications

• Two years of security-related experience.
• A valid driver’s license is required.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to visitors and employees while following site procedures and emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of offices, parking facilities, and entrances to deter incidents.
• Monitor access points and verify credentials as required and direct guests according to site procedures.
• Respond to incidents calmly and document actions taken.
• Complete activity and incident reports and patrol logs.

Position Type: Part Time

Pay Rate: $18.03 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Sat: 08:00 AM - 04:00 PM
• Sun: 04:00 PM - 12:00 AM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to visitors, employees, and members of the public while carrying out site-specific procedures, policies, and emergency response activities at a government retirement systems location.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of offices, common areas, parking facilities, building entrances, and perimeter areas to help identify and report unusual activity, hazards, or maintenance concerns.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials as required, and direct guests in accordance with site procedures.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate personnel and documenting actions taken.
• Complete detailed activity reports, incident reports, and patrol logs while maintaining a professional presence that helps to deter unauthorized activity.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have at least two years of security-related experience.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• A Guard Card or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
