Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer Screening Review in Indianapolis, IN to safeguard our clients across logistics and distribution sites. You will operate screening equipment, monitor access points, and uphold security procedures while delivering exceptional customer service. Position Type: Full Time.

Qualifications

• Minimum one year of security-related experience.
• X-ray screening experience preferred.
• Must be 18+ for unarmed roles or 21+ for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Background check as per federal, state and local laws.
• Drug screen required where permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements vary by state/local laws.
• Driver’s license required for driving positions only.

As a Security Officer Screening Review in Indianapolis, IN, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. As a Screener at a logistics and distribution location, you will use screening equipment to help identify prohibited items, monitor access points, and support a secure environment for employees and visitors. You will remain visible, communicate professionally, document security-related activity, and provide exceptional customer service. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Screen employees, visitors, contractors, and deliveries entering the distribution location in accordance with established site procedures.
• Monitor access points and report suspicious activity, prohibited items, or policy violations to appropriate site contacts.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned areas, including the business interior, exterior, and perimeter, as required by the location.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least one year of security-related experience is required.
• X-ray screening experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
