Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer Full Time Screening Audit in Indianapolis, IN to safeguard clients across logistics and distribution sites. The role involves using screening equipment, monitoring access points, and delivering professional customer service while deterring incidents.

Position type is Full Time with a pay rate of $17.22 per hour. Schedule includes day shifts and evenings across weekdays and weekends, supporting a dynamic logistics environment.

Qualifications

• X-ray screening experience is preferred.
• Experience using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Loss prevention experience is preferred.
• Ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and delivery personnel while carrying out site-specific screening procedures, policies, and emergency response activities.
• Screen employees, contractors, visitors, packages, and/or belongings in accordance with established access-control and prohibited-item procedures.
• Monitor screening equipment and access points, identify irregularities, and report security-related concerns to site leadership and/or emergency responders.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following applicable post orders and escalation procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned screening areas, loading zones, building entrances, and perimeter locations to help deter unauthorized access and support a controlled logistics environment.
