Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer X Ray Baggage Review in Indianapolis, IN to safeguard clients in logistics and distribution. You will support screening operations at a busy site, maintain a visible presence, and promote a welcoming environment.

As a Screener, you will carry out screening of people and packages, verify access credentials, report suspicious items, and respond to incidents with calm, professional communication to site contacts and responders.

Qualifikationen

• Loss prevention experience preferred.
• X-Ray screening experience preferred.
• Access control and badge experience preferred.
• Ability to lift more than 20 lbs preferred.
• Customer service experience preferred.
• Must be 18+ for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Background check required by law.

• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations calmly, communicating observations to site contacts and emergency responders.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of screening areas, entrances, loading areas, and perimeters to deter unauthorized activity.

Job Description

As a Security Officer X Ray Baggage Review in Indianapolis, IN, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. As a Screener at a logistics and distribution location, you will support security-related operations by conducting screening activities, monitoring access points, and helping to identify prohibited items or potential concerns. You will maintain a visible presence, communicate professionally with employees and visitors, and help promote a welcoming environment. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and delivery personnel by carrying out site-specific screening procedures, policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Screen individuals, packages, and personal property entering designated areas using approved equipment and procedures; report prohibited or suspicious items in accordance with site policy.
• Verify access credentials and maintain accurate visitor, delivery, and screening activity records.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, communicating observations to appropriate site contacts and emergency responders.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of designated screening areas, facility entrances, loading areas, and perimeter locations to help deter unauthorized activity.

Minimum Requirements:

• Loss prevention experience is preferred.
• X-Ray screening experience is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Ability to lift more than 20 lbs is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
