Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, drivers, and employees by carrying out site-specific screening procedures and policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Screen individuals, packages, and other items entering or leaving the logistics and distribution location.
• Monitor access points and verify credentials, shipping documentation, and authorization for personnel and deliveries.
• Report suspicious activity, prohibited items, policy violations, and incidents with accurate records.
• Respond to incidents calmly, and conduct regular and random patrols of assigned areas and the perimeter.

What You’ll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, drivers, and employees by carrying out site‑specific screening procedures, policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Screen individuals, packages, and other items entering or leaving the logistics and distribution location in accordance with established procedures.
• Monitor access points and verify credentials, shipping documentation, and authorization for personnel and deliveries.
• Report suspicious activity, prohibited items, policy violations, and incidents to the appropriate personnel while maintaining accurate records.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner, and conduct regular and random patrols of assigned areas and the perimeter.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have at least 6 months of security‑related experience.
• Be comfortable using a computer or tablet, preferred.
• Have customer service experience, preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
