Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, drivers, contractors, and/or visitors while carrying out site-specific screening procedures and policies at a logistics and distribution location.
• Screen employees, visitors, vehicles, packages, and/or shipments in accordance with established access-control and screening procedures.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials and delivery documentation, and report unauthorized access or irregular activity to appropriate personnel.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following site-specific emergency response procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of loading areas, docks, parking areas, and the business perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.

As a Security Officer Screening Assessment in Fort Worth, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. As a Screener at a logistics and distribution location, you will help support a secure environment by screening personnel, visitors, and/or materials, monitoring access points, and reporting security-related concerns. You will use strong communication and customer service skills while remaining visible and professional. What You'll Do:

Minimum Requirements:

• Have at least 6 months of security-related experience.
• Be comfortable using a computer or tablet preferred.
• Be able to lift up to 20 pounds preferred.
• Have customer service experience preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
