Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, drivers and employees while conducting security procedures.
• Screen personnel, visitors, vehicles, packages, and shipments entering or leaving the location per site rules.
• Verify access credentials, maintain visitor records and report unauthorized access or items.
• Respond calmly to incidents following established reporting and escalation procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols to deter unauthorized activity.

Position Type: Part Time

Pay Rate: $16.82 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Sat: 06:00 AM - 02:00 PM
• Sun: 06:00 AM - 02:00 PM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, drivers, and employees while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Screen personnel, visitors, vehicles, packages, and/or shipments entering or leaving the distribution location in accordance with established site requirements.
• Verify access credentials, maintain visitor and screening records, and report unauthorized access attempts or prohibited items to site leadership.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established reporting and escalation procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned areas, access points, loading areas, and the perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least 6 months of security-related experience is required.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 20 pounds is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
