As a Security Officer Full Time Driver Screening in Bloomington, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. As a Screener at a logistics and distribution location, you will help support a secure, welcoming environment by screening people and materials, monitoring assigned areas, and reporting security-related concerns. You will provide clear communication and customer service while helping to deter incidents through a visible, professional presence. Position Type: Full Time

Pay Rate: $18.80 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Mon 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM
• Fri 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM
• Sat 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM
• Sun 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, drivers, and employees by carrying out site-specific screening procedures, policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Screen personnel, visitors, packages, and property entering and leaving the logistics and distribution location in accordance with site procedures.
• Monitor access points and verify credentials, shipping documentation, and authorization for entry to restricted areas.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, promptly reporting observations to appropriate site contacts.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of loading areas, trailer yards, docks, parking areas, and the business perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in the state where the job is located.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
