Job summary

Allied Universal, North America’s leading security and facility services company, is seeking a Security Officer Full Time Screening Operations in Frisco, TX. You will screen people and materials, monitor areas, and report security concerns while delivering professional customer service.

Position Type: Full Time. Pay Rate: $16.82 / Hour. Schedule includes multiple shifts across days and nights, with varying start times at logistics sites.

Qualifications

• At least 6 months of security-related experience.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet.
• Customer service experience preferred.
• Must be at least 18 years old for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check will be conducted in accordance with laws.
• Drug screen required where permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements depend on state/local laws and may be required.
• A valid driver’s license for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, drivers, visitors, and employees by carrying out site-specific security procedures, access-control policies, and emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.
• Screen employees, visitors, packages, and/or vehicles according to site procedures; verify credentials and document access activity.
• Monitor entry/exit points, loading areas, and screening equipment; report irregularities and policy violations to appropriate personnel.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner per escalation and reporting procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the facility, trailer yard, loading areas, and perimeter.

As a Security Officer Full Time Screening Operations in Frisco, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. As a Screener in a fast-paced logistics and distribution location, you will help maintain a secure environment by screening people and materials, monitoring assigned areas, and reporting security-related concerns. You will provide professional customer service, communicate clearly with team members, and support smooth operations. What You'll Do:

• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established escalation and reporting procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the facility, trailer yard, loading areas, and perimeter. Working environments and conditions may vary by client site.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have at least 6 months of security-related experience.
• Be comfortable using a computer or tablet, preferred.
• Have customer service experience, preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
