Job summary

Allied Universal® is seeking a Part Time Front Desk Security Associate at a manufacturing location. You will greet visitors, verify identifications, issue visitor credentials, monitor access, and maintain visitor logs.

You will respond calmly to incidents, alarms, and emergencies following established procedures. Daily duties include engaging with employees and guests, answering calls, receiving deliveries, and completing required reports.

Qualifications

• Sat: 06:00 AM - 06:00 PM
• Sun: 06:00 AM - 06:00 PM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures and front-desk policies at a manufacturing and industrial location.
• Greet visitors, verify identification and authorization, issue visitor credentials, maintain accurate visitor logs, and direct guests according to established site procedures.
• Monitor access to the facility through the front desk, assist with badge and credential inquiries, and report unauthorized access concerns to appropriate personnel.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following emergency response procedures and communicating with site contacts and/or emergency services as needed.
• Maintain professional communication with employees and visitors, answer incoming calls, receive deliveries, and complete required activity reports and documentation.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
