Job summary

Allied Universal is hiring a Full Time Security Officer in Monroe, NC. The role involves providing customer service to employees, visitors, and contractors while following site-specific procedures and emergency responses.

Selected candidate will perform regular unarmed patrols, monitor access points, and document incidents and observations. The schedule is Mon- Fri, 10:00 PM–06:00 AM, with benefits and growth opportunities offered.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.

• Mon: 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM
• Tue: 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM
• Wed: 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM
• Thur: 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM
• Fri: 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and contractors while carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of manufacturing areas, building exteriors, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
• Monitor access points, verify visitor and contractor authorization, and maintain accurate entry and activity records in accordance with site procedures.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, medical events, and other critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate personnel as needed.
• Document observations, incidents, and maintenance concerns clearly and promptly, and communicate relevant information to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
