Allied Universal is seeking a part-time Security Officer – Enhanced for a manufacturing/industrial site in the United States. The role emphasizes access control, customer service, and safety procedures.

Candidates must have a valid driver’s license, at least 1 year of security experience, and be comfortable using computers or tablets. The schedule includes a fixed Sunday 2:00 PM–10:00 PM shift with opportunities to pick up additional shifts.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and/or delivery personnel while carrying out site-specific access control procedures and security-related policies at a manufacturing and industrial location.
• Monitor access points, verify credentials and visitor authorization, maintain visitor and contractor logs, and communicate entry requirements in a professional manner.
• Respond to access-control alarms, incidents, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established emergency response procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of designated access points, facility areas, parking areas, and the perimeter to help identify unauthorized activity, unsecured doors, and/or unusual conditions.
• Prepare clear, accurate reports of incidents, access-control activities, and observations, and communicate relevant information to site leadership and Allied Universal supervision.

Pay Rate: $18.00 / Hour

• Valid Driver's License (C124): Candidates must possess a valid driver's license issued in the state where the job is located. This is essential for roles that require travel or transportation as part of job duties.
• Comfortable Using Computer or Tablet (B204): Candidates should demonstrate proficiency in using computers or tablets. Familiarity with basic software applications and the ability to navigate digital platforms are crucial for effective job performance.
• Customer Service Experience (B219): A minimum of [insert required years, if applicable] years of customer service experience is required. Candidates should be able to showcase their ability to interact positively with customers and resolve issues efficiently.
• Security Experience (+1 Year) (C115): Candidates must have at least one year of experience in a security-related role. This experience should include knowledge of security protocols, risk assessment, and emergency response procedures.

Job Schedule:

Sun: 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM

How This Role Works:

• Fixed-Shift Commitment (“Anchor Shifts”): You will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule. This assignment requires a six (6) month commitment.
• Earn More, Claim-A-Shift Program: In addition to your fixed shift, you may pick-up extra shifts through our scheduling platform, allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites. Work part-time hours this week and full-time the next. It’s all up to you.

This role is ideal for candidates seeking part-time employment with flexibility, income stability, and opportunities to build-up to a full-time schedule of up to 40 hours per week; always with the option to scale back when needed.

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
