Job summary

Allied Universal is hiring for a Full Time security position at a commercial data center location. The role involves delivering exceptional customer service while enforcing site security policies and procedures.

You will perform regular patrols, monitor access points, and respond to incidents to keep people and property safe. Ideal candidates have a high school diploma, a valid driver's license (where required), and basic computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, contractors, and employees by enforcing site-specific security procedures.
• Conduct regular and random foot and vehicle patrols of interiors, exteriors, parking, loading areas, and perimeters.
• Monitor access points, verify credentials, and maintain accurate logs per site policies.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and emergencies calmly and report details to the appropriate contacts.

Pay Rate: $21.10 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Mon 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM
• Fri 06:00 AM - 02:00 PM
• Sat 06:00 AM - 02:00 PM
• Sun 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM

What You’ll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, contractors, and employees by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, access-control policies, and emergency response activities at a commercial real estate data center location.
• Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of building interiors, exterior grounds, parking areas, loading areas, and perimeter locations to help identify and report unusual conditions or unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points, visitor and contractor entry, and delivery activity in accordance with site policies; verify credentials and maintain accurate activity logs as required.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; notify appropriate site contacts and emergency responders and complete required reports.
• Maintain a professional presence while observing facility conditions, reporting maintenance concerns, hazards, and security-related issues to Allied Universal leadership and site management.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
• Comfortably using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
