• Inspect credentials, logs, and packages and report irregularities to site leadership.
• Respond to incidents calmly and follow reporting/escalation procedures.
• Conduct regular patrols of entry points, loading areas, warehouses, parking, and perimeter.

As a Security Officer Part Time Personnel Screening in Plainfield, IN, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. As a Screener at a logistics and distribution location, you will help support a secure environment by screening personnel, visitors, and/or materials in accordance with site procedures. You will maintain a visible presence, report security-related concerns, and provide professional customer service and clear communication. Pay Rate: $18.78 / Hour

Job Schedule: DayTimeSat06:00 PM - 06:00 AM Sun06:00 PM - 06:00 AM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, drivers, and/or associates by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Screen employees, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel entering the logistics and distribution location in accordance with established access-control procedures.
• Inspect credentials, visitor logs, packages, and/or vehicles as directed, and report irregularities or prohibited items to site leadership.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established reporting and escalation procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of entry points, loading areas, warehouse spaces, parking areas, and the perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
