Allied Universal is seeking a Part-Time Security Officer Screening Assessment in Zionsville, IN. You will operate X-ray screening equipment, monitor access points, inspect items, and report suspicious activity to maintain a secure environment.

As a Screener at a logistics and distribution location, you will help support a secure environment by operating X-ray screening equipment, monitoring access points, inspecting items in accordance with site procedures, and reporting suspicious activity. You will maintain a visible presence, help deter incidents, and provide professional communication and customer service. Position Type: Part Time

Pay Rate: $17.22 / Hour

Job Schedule: DayTimeSat03:00 PM - 11:00 PMSun03:00 PM - 11:00 PM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, drivers, visitors, and employees while carrying out site-specific screening procedures, policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Screen individuals, packages, and authorized items entering or leaving the logistics and distribution location in accordance with established procedures.
• Monitor access points and verify credentials, shipping documentation, and authorization for personnel, visitors, and deliveries.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, promptly reporting concerns to site leadership and/or Allied Universal supervision.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of screening areas, loading zones, and the business perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least one year of security-related experience is required.
• X-ray screening experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
