Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer Perimeter Patrol to protect client sites in Saint Joseph, MO. This full-time role involves unarmed patrols, excellent customer service, and a visible presence to deter incidents at manufacturing and industrial locations.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old for unarmed roles (21+ for armed roles).
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Background check per federal, state, and local laws.
• Drug screen required where permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements depend on state/local laws and regulations.
• Valid driver’s license required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients by following site policies and security procedures.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional manner and escalate as needed.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout production areas, offices, parking areas, and perimeter.
• Monitor access points, verify visitor/contractor authorization, and document visitor activity.
• Observe hazards or violations and report to site contacts and leadership.

As a Security Officer Perimeter Patrol in Saint Joseph, MO, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a manufacturing and industrial location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support a welcoming environment for employees and visitors. Position Type: Full Time

Pay Rate: $15.50 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Tue 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM
• Wed 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM
• Sat 07:00 AM - 03:00 PM
• Sun 07:00 AM - 03:00 PM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a manufacturing and industrial location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns according to site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout production areas, offices, parking areas, and the facility perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points, verify visitor and contractor authorization, and maintain accurate visitor and incident documentation.
• Observe and report hazards, damaged property, unusual activity, and policy violations to appropriate site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
