You'll serve clients across industries, maintain a visible presence, and help deter security incidents while delivering good customer service.

As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a food and beverage location, you’ll conduct routine patrols, verify access, and respond calmly to incidents.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Background investigation required by law.
• Drug screen required where permitted by law.
• Licensing required where applicable for driving roles.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and drivers at a food production location.
• Conduct regular unarmed patrols of production areas, grounds, and perimeters.
• Monitor access points and verify authorization for personnel and visitors.
• Respond calmly to incidents and notify appropriate responders.
• Document patrols and incidents in reports and share relevant info during handoffs.

Position Type: Part Time

Pay Rate: $17.00 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Tue: 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM
• Fri: 07:00 AM - 03:00 PM
• Sat: 07:00 AM - 03:00 PM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and/or drivers at a food production location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of production areas, exterior grounds, parking areas, entry points, shipping and receiving areas, and the perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and verify authorization for personnel, visitors, contractors, and delivery drivers in accordance with site procedures.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; notify appropriate site contacts and/or emergency responders when needed.
• Document patrols, access activity, incidents, and unusual conditions in accurate reports and communicate relevant information during shift handoffs.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
