Allied Universal in Independence, MO is seeking a Security Officer Armed Perimeter Patrol Driver with a DoD Secret Clearance. You will monitor the perimeter, patrol assigned areas, respond to incidents, and provide professional customer service while supporting site operations.

Minimum requirements include 3+ years of security or related experience or a college degree, an Armed Guard Card/License, a valid DoD clearance, and a valid driver’s license.

As a Security Officer Armed Perimeter Patrol Driver Security Clearance in Independence, MO, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. As an Armed Security Officer at a manufacturing and industrial location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, operate a vehicle as needed, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and respond to security-related concerns. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities in a manufacturing and industrial location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established site procedures and reporting requirements.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout manufacturing areas, access points, parking areas, and the perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access to the location, verify credentials as assigned, and document visitor, contractor, and delivery activity in accordance with site requirements.
• Maintain awareness of industrial operations, identify and report potential hazards or unusual conditions, and communicate observations to appropriate site personnel.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess 3+ years of combined law enforcement, military, and/or security-related experience or a college degree.
• Possess an Armed Guard Card/License.
• Maintain an active DoD Secret Clearance.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• At this site there are limited on-site facilities such as portable toilets and rustic guard shacks.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
