Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer Patrol Driver at a premier shopping center in Tustin, CA. You will perform vehicle and foot patrols, deter incidents, and maintain a welcoming environment for guests and tenants. Must hold a valid driver’s license and be at least 18 years old for unarmed roles.

Schedule is full-time on day shift with competitive pay. Responsibilities include high‑quality customer service, incident reporting, and coordination with site personnel.

• Respond to incidents, customer concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional manner, contacting appropriate personnel or emergency services when needed.
• Monitor access points and document incidents and daily activities per site procedures.
• Assist with maintaining an orderly, welcoming environment by giving directions and managing traffic and parking flow.

Job Description

As a Security Officer Patrol Driver Shopping Centerin Tustin, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer at a premier retail center location, you will conduct routine vehicle and foot patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and support a welcoming environment for guests, tenants, and visitors. This driving post requires a valid driver’s license. You will deliver exceptional customer service, communicate professionally, and respond to security-related concerns with integrity, reliability, teamwork, and care.

Pay Rate: $21.00 / Hour

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to tenants, shoppers, visitors, and client representatives by carrying out site-specific security‑related procedures, policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout retail common areas, parking structures, exterior walkways, and the surrounding perimeter to help identify and report unusual activity or conditions.
• Respond to incidents, customer concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem‑solving manner, contacting appropriate personnel and/or emergency services when needed.
• Monitor access points, observe activity throughout the location, and document incidents, observations, and daily activities in accordance with site procedures.
• Assist with maintaining an orderly, welcoming environment by providing directions, supporting traffic and parking flow, and communicating professionally with the public and site personnel.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Experience providing customer service is preferred.
• Current CPR certification is preferred.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
