As a Security Officer - Patrol Driving - Overnights in Waterloo, IA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer supporting a dynamic manufacturing and industrial location. You will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, report security-related concerns, and provide outstanding customer service and communication. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities at a manufacturing and industrial location.
• Respond to incidents, access-control concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating matters according to site-specific procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout facility buildings, production-adjacent areas, parking areas, and the perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify visitor and contractor access credentials, and maintain accurate logs and reports of security-related activities.
• Communicate observed hazards, unusual conditions, and maintenance concerns to appropriate site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Ability to lift more than 20 lbs is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
