As a Security Officer - Driver Patrol - Full Time in Fort Madison, IA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. Join Allied Universal at a dynamic manufacturing and industrial location as an unarmed patrol officer in a driving post. You will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and deliver outstanding customer service and communication. In a role shaped by agility, reliability, innovation, teamwork, and integrity, you will support daily operations while putting people first.

Position Type: Full Time

Pay Rate: $18.00 / Hour

Job Schedule: DayTime Fri 06:00 AM – 02:00 PM Sat 06:00 AM – 06:00 PM Sun 06:00 AM – 06:00 PM

What You’ll Do:

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities appropriate to the location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting concerns to site contacts and/or Allied Universal leadership.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout production areas, warehouses, parking areas, and perimeter routes, noting unusual activity and/or potential hazards.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity in accordance with location protocols, helping to deter unauthorized entry and/or disruptions to daily operations.
• Support day-to-day site operations by communicating clearly with personnel, contractors, and visitors while following post orders and other security-related responsibilities.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
