Allied Universal is seeking a Part-Time Security Officer Patrol in Carthage, MS. You will join a team that monitors assigned areas, conducts routine patrols, supports access control, and remains visible to deter security issues.

Qualifications

• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years old for unarmed roles; 21+ years old for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Background investigation will be conducted in accordance with federal, state, and local laws.
• A drug screen may be required where permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver;s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities at a food and beverage production location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following reporting and escalation procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of facility interiors, exterior grounds, parking areas, access points, and perimeter areas to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials as directed by site procedures, and document observations, incidents, and irregular conditions.
• Support compliance with site hygiene, sanitation, and restricted-area procedures while interacting professionally with employees, contractors, and visitors.

• Tue 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM
• Wed 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM

What You'll Do:

Minimum Requirements:

• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
