Allied Universal is hiring a Security Officer (Part Time) for Verona, MS. You will patrol and safeguard clients, provide excellent customer service, and maintain a visible security presence at a manufacturing and industrial site.

Position offers flexible scheduling via the Claim a Shift platform. Pay rate is $10.15 per hour, with duties including access control, incident reporting, and professional communication with staff and visitors.

Qualifications

• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check in accordance with laws.
• Drug screen required where permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements as per state/local laws.

As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a manufacturing and industrial location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, support access control, and provide outstanding customer service. You will use computer or tablet tools to document activities and communicate professionally with employees and visitors. Pay Rate: $10.15 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Wed 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM
• Thur 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and vendors while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and appropriate emergency response activities at a manufacturing and industrial location.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of interior production areas, exterior grounds, access points, parking areas, and the facility perimeter to help identify and report unusual conditions.
• Monitor access to the location, verify credentials as directed by site procedures, and document visitor, contractor, and delivery activity.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, communicating observations to site contacts and emergency responders as appropriate.
• Prepare accurate daily activity reports and incident documentation, and promptly report maintenance, access-control, and other security-related concerns.

Minimum Requirements:

• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
