The position requires at least one year of security experience, a high school diploma or equivalent, and the ability to pass background checks and a drug screen. A valid driver’s license is required for driving roles.

Qualifications

• At least one year of security-related experience is required.
• Ability to lift up to 20 pounds is preferred.
• Experience with access control and badge systems is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check will be conducted in accordance with laws.
• Drug screen required where permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements may be required by state/local laws.
• A valid driver’s license is required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, employees, contractors, and visitors by carrying out site-specific security procedures.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations calmly and report observations promptly.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of production areas, offices, parking, and perimeter.
• Monitor access points and verify credentials for employees, visitors, vendors, and delivery personnel.
• Maintain accurate activity logs and shift documentation; communicate information to leadership.

How This Role Works

• Fixed-Shift Commitment (“Anchor Shifts”): You will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule. This assignment requires a six (6) month commitment.
• Earn More, Claim‑A‑Shift Program: In addition to your fixed shift, you may pick‑up extra shifts through our scheduling platform, allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites. Work part‑time hours this week and full‑time the next. It’s all up to you.

This role is ideal for candidates seeking part‑time employment with flexibility, income stability, and opportunities to build‑up to a full‑time schedule of up to 40 hours per week; always with the option to scale back when needed.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, employees, contractors, and visitors by carrying out site‑specific security‑related procedures, access‑control policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner, promptly reporting observations and concerns according to site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of food and beverage production areas, offices, parking areas, exterior grounds, and the facility perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify security‑related concerns.
• Monitor access points and verify credentials for employees, visitors, vendors, and delivery personnel in accordance with site‑specific procedures.
• Maintain accurate activity logs, incident reports, and shift documentation, and communicate relevant information to Allied Universal leadership and site contacts.

Minimum Requirements

• At least one year of security‑related experience is required.
• The ability to lift up to 20 pounds is preferred.
• Experience with access control and badge systems is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
