Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer enhanced part-time patrol in Carthage, MS. This role offers flexible, fixed- shift anchored hours with opportunities to pick up additional shifts via the scheduling platform. Pay is $15.20 per hour and the schedule includes Friday 2:00 PM – 10:00 PM.

Ideal for building experience toward a full-time career in security. You’ll provide customer service, monitor access, conduct patrols, and respond to incidents while upholding site policies and safety

As a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Patrol in Carthage, MS, this role is designed to provide reliable, consistent hours at an assigned site with the flexibility for you to earn more by picking‑up additional shifts when it works for you.

Pay Rate: $15.20 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Fri 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM

How This Role Works:

• Fixed-Shift Commitment ('Anchor Shifts'): You will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule. This assignment requires a six (6) month commitment.
• Earn More, Claim-A-Shift Program: In addition to your fixed shift, you may pick‑up extra shifts through our scheduling platform, allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites. Work part‑time hours this week and full‑time the next. It's all up to you.

This role is ideal for candidates seeking part‑time employment with flexibility, income stability, and opportunities to build‑up to a full‑time schedule of up to 40 hours per week; always with the option to scale back when needed.

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to clients, employees, visitors, and delivery personnel by carrying out security‑related procedures, site‑specific policies, and appropriate emergency response activities at a food and beverage production location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem‑solving manner, escalating concerns according to site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of production areas, exterior grounds, parking areas, entrances, and perimeter locations to help identify unusual activity and report observations.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials as directed, and maintain required logs and reports.
• Support compliance with site policies for restricted areas, vehicle traffic, deliveries, and employee/visitor entry while maintaining a professional customer‑service presence.

Minimum Requirements:

• Ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred.
• Experience with access control and badge systems is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
