As an Access Control Officer at a food and beverage location, you will help maintain a secure environment by monitoring entry points, verifying credentials, managing badge access, and supporting visitors and employees with professional customer service. You will remain visible, communicate clearly, and report security-related concerns while reflecting Allied Universal’s agile, reliable, innovative, and people-first culture through teamwork and integrity.

Position Type: Part Time

Pay Rate: $13.50 / Hour

DayTimeWed02:00 PM - 10:00 PMThur02:00 PM - 10:00 PM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities at a food and beverage distribution location.
• Monitor and control access to the facility, including verifying credentials, documenting visitor and contractor entry, and directing authorized personnel to appropriate areas.
• Observe inbound and outbound vehicle activity, coordinate gate access for deliveries and shipments, and report irregularities according to site procedures.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns to appropriate personnel as required.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of access points, loading areas, parking areas, and the business perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.

Minimum Requirements:

• The ability to lift up to 20 pounds is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Access control/badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
