Position Type: Part Time

Pay Rate: $16.50 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Sat 06:00 AM - 06:00 PM
• Sun 06:00 AM - 06:00 PM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, employees, contractors, and visitors at a technology, media, and telecommunications location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of interior spaces, exterior grounds, access points, parking areas, and the perimeter to help identify and report unusual activity, hazards, or policy concerns.
• Monitor access to the location by observing entry and exit activity, verifying authorization as required by site procedures, and directing visitors in a professional manner.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established site procedures and communicating with appropriate personnel and emergency responders.
• Document patrols, incidents, observations, and visitor-related activity in accordance with Allied Universal and site reporting requirements.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
