Job summary

Allied Universal, Olive Branch, MS, is seeking a Part-Time Security Officer Driver Patrol to serve tech, media, and telecom locations. The role involves unarmed patrols, access control, and exceptional customer service.

A valid driver’s license is required to operate patrol vehicles, and you will help deter incidents while maintaining a visible presence. The schedule is Mon–Tue, 2:00 PM–2:00 AM, with a pay rate of $16.50 per hour.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service at a tech/media/telecom site by following security procedures and site policies.
• Respond to incidents and alarms in a calm, professional manner and escalate as needed.
• Conduct regular unarmed patrols of the facility, including entrances, parking, and perimeter areas.
• Monitor access points and observe visitor and contractor activity.
• Document patrols and incidents and communicate findings to leadership and contacts.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, employees, visitors, and vendors at a technology, media, and telecommunications location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, escalating matters according to site-specific procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout the facility, including business areas, common areas, entrances, parking areas, and perimeter locations, to help to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and observe visitor and contractor activity in accordance with site-specific access control procedures.
• Document patrols, incidents, and observed conditions accurately and communicate relevant information to Allied Universal leadership and site contacts.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
