Allied Universal, North America’s leading security and facility services company, is hiring a Part-Time Unarmed Security Officer in Sterling, VA. You will perform routine patrols, monitor access, and respond to incidents to help maintain a safe, welcoming environment for employees and visitors.

This position offers flexible scheduling, the chance to grow professionally, and the support of a dedicated team. Prior security or customer service experience is preferred, along with a valid guard card

Competenze

• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent is required.

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and vendors at a technology and media location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of interior spaces, exterior grounds, parking areas, access points, and the business perimeter to help identify and report unusual activity or potential concerns.

Position Type: Part Time

Pay Rate: $23.11 / Hour

Job Schedule:

Fri 06:00 AM - 02:00 PM; Sun 06:00 AM - 02:00 PM

What You'll Do:

Minimum Requirements:

• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Comfort with using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
