As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a dynamic technology, media, and telecommunications location, you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, and maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents. You will support access control, use computer or tablet systems, and deliver exceptional customer service and communication. Position Type: Part Time

Pay Rate: $25.02 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Sat: 04:00 PM - 12:00 AM
• Sun: 04:00 PM - 12:00 AM

What You’ll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and vendors at a technology, media, and telecommunications location while carrying out site-specific security-related procedures and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established reporting and escalation procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of the facility, grounds, parking areas, and perimeter to help identify unusual activity, hazards, and maintenance concerns.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials as directed, and help support authorized entry to restricted areas.
• Document patrols, incidents, observations, and completed security-related activities in accordance with Allied Universal and site-specific policies.

Minimum Requirements:

• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
