Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and vendors at a technology site.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, access concerns, and critical situations calmly and report them.
• Conduct regular unarmed patrols of office areas and perimeters to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and verify visitor authorization per site procedures.
• Document patrols and incidents accurately in logs and reports.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and/or vendors at a technology and telecommunications location by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established reporting and escalation procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of office areas, data-related spaces, parking areas, and the facility perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify authorization in accordance with site procedures, and report irregularities to appropriate personnel.
• Document patrols, incidents, and observations accurately in required logs and reports, maintaining clear communication with site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.

Minimum Requirements:

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Access control or badge experience is preferred.
• CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
