Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer – Part Time Enhanced in Bellevue, WA. This role provides reliable hours at an assigned site with opportunities to earn more by taking additional shifts through our scheduling platform.

You will perform unarmed security patrols, greet employees and visitors, monitor access points, and respond calmly to incidents. A fixed-shift anchor plus optional pick-up shifts offers flexible, scalable hours up to 40 per week.

Qualifications

• At least 2 years of security-related experience.
• Be comfortable using a computer or tablet.
• CPR certification preferred.
• Access control and badge experience preferred.
• Customer service experience preferred.
• Age 18+ for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• As a condition of employment, background check and drug screen may apply.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and contractors by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of offices, common areas, parking areas, and surrounding perimeter to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and verify credentials, report unauthorized access or unusual activity.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations calmly and following escalation procedures.
• Document patrols and incidents accurately and communicate information to leadership and site contacts.

As a Security Officer Part Time Unarmed Patrol in Bellevue, WA, this role is designed to provide reliable, consistent hours at an assigned site with the flexibility for you to earn more by picking‑up additional shifts when it works for you.

Pay Rate: $26.05 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Fri 06:00 AM - 06:00 PM

How This Role Works:

• Fixed-Shift Commitment (“Anchor Shifts”): You will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule. This assignment requires a six (6) month commitment.
• Earn More, Claim-A-Shift Program: In addition to your fixed shift, you may pick‑up extra shifts through our scheduling platform, allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites. Work part-time hours this week and full-time the next. It’s all up to you.

This role is ideal for candidates seeking part-time employment with flexibility, income stability, and opportunities to build‑up to a full‑time schedule of up to 40 hours per week; always with the option to scale back when needed.

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and contractors by carrying out site‑specific security‑related procedures, policies, and emergency response activities at a technology and telecommunications location.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of offices, common areas, parking areas, and the surrounding perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security‑related concerns.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials as required, and report unauthorized access attempts or unusual activity.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem‑solving manner, following site‑specific escalation procedures.
• Document patrols, incidents, and security‑related observations accurately and communicate relevant information to Allied Universal leadership and site contacts.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess at least 2 years of security‑related experience.
• Be comfortable using a computer or tablet, preferred.
• Possess CPR certification, preferred.
• Have access control and badge experience, preferred.
• Have customer service experience, preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
