Job summary

Baptist Health is seeking a Security Officer for a part-time, second shift position in Kentucky. You will provide direct security and related public services, respond to emergencies, deter threats, and help ensure a safe, welcoming hospital environment.

The role requires strong communication, vigilance, and the ability to enforce policies while coordinating with staff, patients, visitors, and vendors. Training and qualification standards are specified in the requirements.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Valid Driver's License with satisfactory driving record.
• BCLS certification within 90 days.
• Taser X26P or Taser 7 course within 6 months.
• Handcuff course within 6 months.

• Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification within 90 days.
• Taser X26P or Taser 7 course within 6 months.
